Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a caring Learning Partner to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs in a welcoming primary school in Yate. The role focuses on 1:1 support to help the child access learning and build confidence, with a patient, adaptable approach.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to tailor activities, support independence, and provide a calm presence throughout the day. This is a temporary position with full-time hours and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Experience in a primary school or educational setting is highly desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to help the pupil access learning and develop socially and emotionally.
• Adapt activities, encourage independence and be a calm, reassuring presence throughout the school day.
