Job summary

Protocol Education Ltd is seeking a caring Learning Partner to join a welcoming Patchway primary school, providing dedicated 1:1 SEN support for a pupil.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SEND team to help the pupil access learning, develop socially and emotionally, and feel confident in the classroom. DBS checks and 24 months of references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
• Patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with children.
• Able to remain calm, adaptable and encouraging on challenging days.
• Holds an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service or willing to obtain one.
• Provide 24 months of references as part of compliance.

We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Has experience working within a primary school or educational setting, this is highly desirable
• Is patient, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with children
• Can remain calm, adaptable and encouraging, even on challenging days
• Holds an Enhanced Child Only DBS on the Update Service, or is willing to obtain one
• Can provide 24 months of references as part of the compliance process

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
