Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEMH needs is desirable.
• Backgrounds in support work, care, youth work, sports coaching, mentoring, or similar roles are welcomed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom and around the school environment.
• Support students with SEN/SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD and other needs.
• Help manage and de-escalate challenging behaviours calmly and professionally.
• Encourage positive behaviour, engagement and emotional regulation.
• Build positive relationships and act as a consistent role model.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and pastoral teams to support student progress.
