Job summary

Milk Education is partnering with specialist SEN schools across Guildford, Farnborough and surrounding areas to recruit passionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to supporting children with additional needs and helping them access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND is desirable.
• Patient, resilient and empathetic; able to build trusting relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional needs.
• Support learning, communication and emotional regulation.
• Assist with classroom activities and small group work.
• Build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupil.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and support teams.
• Encourage independence, confidence and social development.
