Job summary

Academics Ltd. is seeking a patient 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil with additional needs in Doncaster. You will work closely with teaching staff to implement tailored learning activities and support inclusion throughout the school day.

Experience with SEN, ASD/ADHD or SEMH is beneficial. An enhanced DBS is preferred or willingness to obtain one. Flexible ongoing supply roles across Doncaster with competitive PAYE daily rates.

Are you a patient and caring Learning Support Assistant with experience supporting children with additional needs? Academics is looking for dedicated 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistants across Doncaster.

We are recruiting for temporary, ongoing opportunities within primary and specialist school settings across Doncaster. These roles are ideal for someone who enjoys building positive relationships with pupils and providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop confidence and achieve their potential.

Position: 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply
Pay: per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)
Start Date: ASAP or a date that suits you

About the Role

As a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant in Doncaster, you will work closely with an individual pupil who requires additional support throughout the school day. Pupils may have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, SEMH needs, communication difficulties or other additional learning needs. You will adapt your approach to help the pupil feel supported, included and able to participate in classroom activities.
