Job summary

Academics Ltd is recruiting an SEN Learning Support Assistant to work on a temporary, flexible supply basis across Doncaster. You will support learning in settings with additional needs and collaborate with teachers, therapists and support staff to help pupils progress academically, socially and emotionally.

The role requires an enhanced DBS (Child and Adult) or willingness to obtain one, a relevant TA qualification (Cache Level 3 preferred), and prior SEN experience.

Qualifications

• A relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification (Cache LV 3 preferred).
• Previous SEN teaching experience or strong knowledge of specialist education.
• Understanding of Autism, ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD and additional learning needs.
• Enhanced Child and Adult DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain).

Are you a dedicated SEN Learning Support Assistant. looking for flexible opportunities across Doncaster?

Academics, an established Education Agency, are acting as an agency and are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis across a variety of specialist SEN provisions throughout Doncaster.

This SEN opportunity offers the chance to support children and young people with a range of additional needs. Some specialist provisions include Post-16 learners, therefore an Enhanced Child and Adult DBS is required, or applicants must be willing to obtain both.

Position: SEN Learning Support Assistant

Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire

Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing supply

Pay: £92.56 - £110 per day (dependent on experience, training, qualifications and client rate available)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role
