Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Farnborough is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to help pupils with SEMH and SEN needs stay engaged in learning.

You will work closely with teachers to support emotional regulation, behaviour and confidence in a small class setting; a Child Workforce DBS or willingness to obtain one is required. This is a temporary role with potential for extension, and pay is quoted at £14.25 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs.
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
• Strong relationship-building and behaviour support skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the pupil's emotional regulation, behaviour, and engagement with learning
• Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement support strategies
• Help maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment
