Job summary

Brighton College in Brighton is seeking an Individual Needs Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis to work under the Head of Learning Support, providing dedicated, child-centred support for a neurodiverse pupil with PDA and allergies.

You will collaborate with teachers to adapt learning, support emotional regulation, and promote positive social participation, while ensuring allergy safety and reporting progress to the Head of Learning Support.

• Able to build strong relationships with neurodiverse pupils.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated, child-centred support for a neurodiverse pupil with PDA and allergies.
• Support learning through Curriculum Adaption and targeted learning assistance.
• Support emotional regulation and pupil wellbeing.
• Ensure allergy safety procedures are followed and monitor health needs.
