OFG Education is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant 1:1 at Crookhey Hall School near Lancaster. You will provide tailored support to a student, promoting confidence, resilience and independent learning throughout the school day.

Role emphasizes building relationships, safeguarding, and collaboration with teachers and therapists. Starts November 2026; 37.5 hours/week; permanent and term-time only; UK applicants only.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent).
• A Full UK Driving Licence.
• Patient, caring and resilient approach.
• Ability to build positive, professional relationships with young people.

Responsibilities

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
• Helping a student access learning and engage positively in education.
• Building a trusting and supportive relationship that promotes confidence and self-esteem.
• Supporting emotional wellbeing, social development and positive behaviour.
• Adapting approach to meet individual communication and learning needs.
• Encouraging independence, resilience and life skills.
• Working with teachers, therapists and the wider school team to deliver personalised support plans.
