Job summary

Forge Wood Primary School is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to support an individual pupil on a 1:1 basis, focused on behavioural and social support and tailored interventions to enhance learning and wellbeing.

The role requires calm, consistent communication with parents and collaboration with a multi-agency team within the GLF Schools community. Term-time, 32.5 hours per week, with a supportive school cluster environment.

Qualifications

• 1:1 Learning Support Assistant role focusing on pupil wellbeing and learning.
• Passion for supporting young people and developing social-emotional skills.
• Calm, objective communicator when dealing with challenging behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavioural and social support to an individual pupil.
• Deliver high-frequency intervention and regulation support as required.
• Collaborate with families and outside agencies to support pupil progress.
