Job summary

Crofton Academy is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive school community in Crofton, England. Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths, or equivalent
• Experience working or caring for children
• Understanding of SEN and ability to relate well to pupils with additional needs
• Strong communication, teamwork, and initiative

• Enthusiastic and energetic with a commitment to pupil wellbeing
• A positive role model and team player
• Willingness to support whole school events and personal development

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a variety of SEN, including physical disabilities
• Assist with learning activities, supervision, and care
• Report pupil progress and concerns to teaching staff and contribute to individual education/behaviour plans
• Support pupils in using resources such as ICT
• Participate in school visits and supervise pupils during non-lesson times
• Liaise with parents/carers and contribute to reports under the direction of the SENCo
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety, and data protection standards
