Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a KS3/4 Tutor to deliver bespoke 1:1 education for pupils not attending school in Manchester. The role involves planning tailored lessons to bridge gaps, reengaging learners and supporting progression. Flexible hours during school times, part-time contract, ASAP start.

Ideal candidates hold QTS/QLTS/PGCE or equivalent, with UK teaching experience and up-to-date safeguarding training. DBS and references required.

Qualifications

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
• 6 months+ experience working in a UK school
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

Responsibilities

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils education and boost engagement and attainment levels
• Reengage pupils in learning and provide structure to daily routine
• Monitor progression with each pupil and support effective learning
