Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Chorley is seeking a dedicated tutor to work 1:1 with KS3/KS4 pupils, delivering tailored Maths, English or Science sessions in the community or at pupils' homes.

The role is part-time, ongoing, with flexible hours between 8am and 4pm, ASAP start. Requirements include right to work in the UK, Enhanced DBS via Update Service and at least 2 professional references; QTS or tutoring experience preferred, especially with SEN.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
• Overseas Police Check (if applicable).
• Minimum 2 years professional references.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4.
• Create and deliver personalised learning plans.
• Provide weekly progress reports.
• Support pupils with emotional or behavioural needs where needed.
