Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated tutor in Bolton to deliver 1:1 and small-group sessions for KS3/KS4 pupils. The role focuses on bridging gaps and boosting engagement and attainment for vulnerable learners.

The ideal candidate will hold QTS or equivalent (or tutoring experience), with UK classroom experience preferred. DBS checks and references are typically required, and the role is part-time on a temporary contract basis.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent qualification or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in KS3/KS4.
• Plan and deliver bespoke sessions to boost engagement and attainment.
• Support students in a one-on-one or small-group setting.
• Be proactive in helping vulnerable, disengaged pupils succeed.
