Job summary

Independent Lives in Selsey is seeking dedicated support workers to join a small team providing one-to-one care for a young woman with complex medical needs. The role covers weekends, evenings, and some day-time hours, on-site in her home.

You will perform personal care, assist with medical tasks, and help the client engage in community activities. A full driving licence is essential for outings and WAV transport.

Qualifications

• Driver's licence required.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including hygiene and changing incontinence pads.
• Administer medication for epilepsy and use buccal Midazolam as required.
• Assist with PEG feeding and preparation of puréed meals.
• Support with suctioning and basic respiratory care using a PEP mask.
• Assist with mobility and use of hoists or manual handling equipment.
• Drive wheelchair-accessible vehicle (WAV) and accompany client on outings.
