Job summary

Home Care Direct in Wisbech is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help a woman live independently in her adapted bungalow. You will provide 1:1 daily assistance, personal care, mobility support, and help with hobbies and appointments, including visits to her caravan in Norfolk.

The role requires a full UK driving licence (21+ for insurance) and the ability to work 25.5 hours per week across a Monday–Sunday rota. You will be supported by care leads and Nurses.

Qualifications

• Full clean UK driving licence (21+ for insurance)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Calm, observant and responsive
• Brain Injury experience is essential
• Committed to providing safe, respectful and consistent support
• Comfortable around animals

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 support with daily routines and activities
• Personal care and mobility support
• Assisting with moving and handling
• Supporting with community access and hobbies, including outdoor activities
• Assisting with household tasks and general organisation
• Supporting with appointments and visits to caravan
• Promoting independence while ensuring safety at all times
