Protocol Education Limited is seeking a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 3 pupil with complex physical needs and hearing loss in LS17. The role requires a British Sign Language qualification (Level 1 or above) and will involve physiotherapy, feeding, intimate care, and moving-and-handling tasks within a DAHIT provision.

Training for feeding, intimate care and physiotherapy will be provided. Hours are 31.25 per week (8:45am–3:30pm) with a half-hour lunch, term-time only, with paid

Qualifications

• British Sign Language qualification required (Level 1 or above).
• Experience assisting children with complex needs is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of physiotherapy programmes.
• Completion of feeding routines using tube feeding.
• Completion of intimate care routines.
• Completion of moving and handling transfers.
• Delivery of personalised learning plans within the main classroom and DAHIT resourced provision.
