Job summary

Qualifications

• Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
• BSL Level 2, or BSL Level 1 with commitment to training to Level 2

Responsibilities

• Support one pupil one-to-one in KS2 who is deaf and has complex learning needs
• Work at the primary site in the first instance
• Support the pupil's communication and learning using British Sign Language
• Provide intimate care, with full training given
• Support individuals and small groups
• Recognise and respond to pupils' needs
