In 2024 SBS creates its Digital Lending business unit with the vision to allow borrowers to benefit from a seamless financing experience via the deployment of a cost effective SaaS end-to-end lending solution for financial institutions.

Product at SBS Digital Lending

We think reinventing lending is a massive challenge. Thats why we are building SBS Digital Lending as a tech and data-driven startup within a large group. Today 8 people in the product team are working on building the best financing experience ever made very closely with the Technical team of 20 developers data scientists & engineers.

The objective of the Product team at SBS Digital Lending is to develop and deliver products that are aligned with the vision resonates with our end-users and provides value for our customers. We always have our users problems at heart and find innovative solutions.

We follow the OKR Methodology to define the Product vision and aim to become fully data driven.

We also believe in Learning at Product. We have weekly product sessions to discuss on topics linked to product skills and product process in order for the team to get involved in a continuous improvement mindset.

We follow the Scrum methodology : the Tech and Product teams are split in 3 squads and deliver new releases after sprints of 3 weeks.

Your daily work

As a Product Designer you will play a vital role in the development and enhancement of our SaaS platform.

We are looking for a Product Designer under the responsibility of the Lead Designer to help us develop a modular SaaS solution to shape the FinTech of tomorrow.

You will be participating in all phases of the development life cycle from initial discovery to production and iteration.

Missions

• Collaborate with other Product managers product designers and cross-functional teams to understand user needs and requirements
• Assist and participate in the creation of user flows prototypes and design mock-ups for new features and improvements of already existing ones
• Conduct and participate to usability testing gather feedback and draw concrete conclusions for the evolution of our products.
• Participate in building a user research strategy across the business unit
• Work closely with developers to ensure the feasibility and implementation of design concepts and with the product team to make sure of the relevance of the identified improvements / new features regarding the roadmap
• Participate in optimizing or design team processes and tools
• Contribute to the maintenance of our design system
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in user experience and interface design with a focus on AI to boost our practices

Qualifications :

• You have 0-3 years xp in product design ideally in a SaaS product B2B
• You have a portfolio (Website or PDF to link with your application)
• You are able to conceptualize innovative interfaces identify new functionalities prioritize user needs communicate your ideas and be proactive
• You understand user-centered design principles and methodologies
• You have skills in UX and UI design (User research User tests)
• You know how to use Figma
• You desire to progress as a product designer
• You like working in a team and are a good communicator
• You speak English and understanding French is a prerequisite
• Knowledge of banking or financial services is a plus but not required
