Job summary
A logistics company is seeking a Truck Driver for long-haul transportation. Position involves driving straight or articulated trucks, loading and unloading goods, and performing vehicle maintenance. Candidates should possess a secondary school diploma, AZ class license, and have 1-2 years of experience. Flexibility in work hours is required, with a competitive hourly wage. Salary: $36.20 per hour (35 to 40 hours per week). Permanent full‑time position. Overtime required; early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift, on call, flexible hours.

- Professionalism in customer service.
- Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations.
- Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
- Load and unload goods.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
- Pay and receive payments for goods.
- Perform brake adjustments.
- Perform emergency roadside repairs.
- Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
- Perform preventive maintenance.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
- Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.
- Transport and handle dangerous goods.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Certificates and licences: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada.
- Other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
