Salary: $36.20 per hour (35 to 40 hours per week). Permanent full‑time position. Overtime required; early morning, morning, day, evening, night, weekend, shift, on call, flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Professionalism in customer service.
• Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations.
• Drive as part of a two‑person team or convoy.
• Load and unload goods.
• Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Perform brake adjustments.
• Perform emergency roadside repairs.
• Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch.
• Tarp and ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Transport and handle dangerous goods.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Certificates and licences: AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, Air Brake (Z) Endorsement.
