Production Manager and Development Coordinator
Collection Development Coordination
Establish and ensure adherence to the development timeline based on seasonal calendar elements provided at the start of the season and necessary for building the overall schedule.
Set and enforce the development budget within the framework provided by General Management.
Coordinate the development of the collection.
Responsible for Standardization, Industrialization, and Production
Supervise or carry out the standardization and industrialization phases of products entering production.
Establish the production schedule and ensure its alignment with commercial presentation and client delivery deadlines.
Supervise or conduct negotiations with subcontractors and suppliers.
Supervise or handle material, supplies, and finished product requirements, including purchasing and procurement.
Oversee production launches and manufacturing processes.
Supervise or organize delivery logistics and manage deadlines and quality globally.
Ensure delivery timelines are met while maintaining expected product quality.
Enforce revised margin objectives, taking into account actual production volumes.
Management
Ensure smooth communication between departments and proper transmission of product information.
Redefine and implement operational processes and ensure their adherence by all teams.
Set annual objectives and conduct performance reviews.
Oversee and ensure accurate integration and updates of data in ZEDONK.
Sourcing / Research & Development
Maintain market and product monitoring.
Explore R&D opportunities.
Propose new developments, especially by creating collaborative projects between Studio and Development teams.
Provide resources and recommendations to support the Studio and Product Development teams.
Quality
Supervise and create technical standard sheets and files; identify potential issues.
Compile standardization and production launch files for factories.
Keep track of requests and receipts for control tests (CTs) and pre-production samples.
Review and define the quality standards for CTs and pre-production samples.
Implement the company’s quality policy.
Monitor production quality (shapes, colors, materials, packaging, labeling, etc.) at manufacturers and in warehouses.
Draft and share quality and sourcing feedback, including corrective action proposals.
Provide technical support to manufacturers.
Contribute to the continuous evaluation of manufacturers for potential corrective actions or delisting.
Logistics
Supplying manufacturers :
Scheduling / Launching
Organize logistics for materials, supplies, and components (including embroidered or enhanced subparts).
Ship materials and supplies to manufacturers, grouping shipments where possible to optimize and streamline operations.
Stock management of finished products :
Organize the return logistics of finished goods to the storage center.
Serve as interface with Sales Administration to relay reception dates and update records.
Process invoices, validate them, and report on the budget.
Profile :
Solid knowledge of high-end fashion leather goods production processes (sourcing, product development, industrialization, quality).
Proficiency in supply chain management, production scheduling, and supplier relations (often international).
Minimum 3 years’ experience in production management.
Knowledge of materials (leather, textiles, finishes) and the technical constraints of design.
Strong negotiation skills with factories, ensuring adherence to cost, deadlines, and quality standards.
Proficient in Office Package, zedonk would be a plus
English at fluent level
