ESRF is seeking an X-ray Optics Manufacturing Technician in Grenoble to join the X-ray Optics Group and help build high-precision crystal analysers for cutting-edge instrumentation.

You will manufacture crystal analysers, operate and calibrate equipment, measure surface topography, and maintain technical records in a clean-room environment. Recent graduates are welcome to apply and training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Technician with hands-on technical work and attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity and methodical approach.
• Fluent in English; team player and organised.

Responsabilités

• Manufacture crystal analysers and X-ray optical components.
• Operate, maintain and calibrate manufacturing equipment.
• Measure surface topography of optical components.
• Work in a clean-room environment following procedures.
• Handle high-value optical components with care.
• Manage stocks of materials and consumables.
• Document manufacturing activities and maintain technical records.
• Contribute to process improvements and new methods.
• Support other activities within the X-ray Optics Group.
