GE Vernova seeks a Wind Technician to support turbine operations at sites within the hub. You will perform maintenance, repair and diagnostics on wind turbines, coordinate with site leadership, ensure safety, and respond to remote operations as needed.

This on-site role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, climb towers, and work flexible shifts. Relocation and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Knowledge Assessment may be required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and climb towers up to 300 feet daily.
• Work in environments including industrial, manufacturing and power facilities.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and be on-call as needed.

Responsabilités

• Maintain, repair or replace parts to correct malfunctions in wind turbines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical issues on turbines.
• Perform diagnostics and document work using service reporting procedures.
• Collaborate with site leadership to meet contract requirements and timelines.
• Support remote operations center when required.
• Work with safety requirements and observe site procedures.
• Assist in various site operations as directed with minimal supervision.
