GE Vernova seeks a Senior Wind Hub Technician to maintain wind turbine operations across Hub TX sites. This role requires extensive field experience, a proactive approach to troubleshooting, and strict adherence to safety and environmental policies.

You will work with Site Lead and Manager to fulfill contract obligations and ensure timely, quality service across multiple wind sites. Travel up to 100% is possible, with on-site work at various wind locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass Technical Knowledge Assessment.
• 4+ years wind trouble-shooting experience (or 5+ years) with related roles.
• Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment is required.
• Basic computer skills are required.

Responsabilités

• Work with site leadership to meet customer requirements and daily activities on GE wind turbine equipment.
• Apply understanding of variable pitch and speed turbines and converter parts.
• Read and explain schematics, drawings, manuals, procedures and regulations.
• Adhere to EH&S processes and regulations and compliance requirements.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on wind turbines.
• Support site operations with minimal supervision while following safety requirements.
• Perform diagnostic analysis and develop timely resolution plans.
• Document work using service reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with GE’s remote operations center as needed.
• Mentor peers and support other site areas as directed.
