Job summary

Yahoo is seeking a VP of Streaming to define strategy, lead product development, and manage Yahoo and partner content libraries. The role encompasses business strategy, product design, and cross-functional leadership across Yahoo Sports, Yahoo Finance, Yahoo News, and more, with an entrepreneurial mindset and a partnership focus.

The VP will build a small AI-native team, collaborate across Yahoo verticals, and drive the launch and growth of this new video experience.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience across digital media, streaming, video, product, or related businesses.
Proven track record of building and scaling a digital video or streaming business, ideally from early stage concept through launch and growth.
Experience leading complex product development, from strategy and design through launch, in close partnership with engineering.
Deep understanding of content strategy, distribution, and partnerships, including owned, licensed, partner, and newly created content.
Strong operator who can build a high performing team, navigate a complex organization, and use AI to accelerate product development and business operations.

Responsibilities

Lead product and business strategy for Yahoo Streaming, crafting vision and driving growth across Yahoo properties.
Oversee product design and development with AI-first approaches.
Handle business development and partner management, engaging with existing and new content and technology partners.
Develop and manage a robust content library including Yahoo-produced and partner content.
