The French Sourcer in Caen, France is seeking a Lead Developer to evolve a SaaS platform and grow the engineering team on-site. The role combines hands-on coding with architectural leadership and strategic planning to modernise the current monolith.

You will mentor developers, collaborate with product and business stakeholders, and help establish sustainable engineering practices across testing, reviews, and deployment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience leading architecture decisions and technical direction.
• Hands-on coding with willingness to stay involved in implementation.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture decisions for a SaaS platform and guide the team.
• Contribute to the codebase and review designs and changes.
• Define a migration strategy for services from the monolith and scale the team.
