Job summary

Malt, Europe’s leading freelance marketplace, seeks a senior Engineering leader to run the Enterprise & FMS engineering org across London, Paris, and Lyon. You will manage Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers to position Malt as the global system of record for enterprise freelance workforces.

Reporting to the CTO, you will co‑own the Enterprise & FMS vision with Product and Design, driving faster deployment, higher adoption, and international expansion, while embedding compliance by design

Qualifications

10+ years in software engineering leadership in Enterprise B2B SaaS.
Experience managing Engineering Managers and Staff Engineers.
Proven international leadership across Europe hubs (London, Paris, Lyon).

Responsibilities

Build and lead the Enterprise engineering organisation and mentor leaders.
Co‑own the Enterprise & FMS vision with Product and Design to drive faster deployment, adoption, and expansion.
Architect and scale an API‑first integrations platform with procurement, P2P, VMS, ERP, and HRIS systems.
Embed compliance by design across markets with worker classification safeguards and secure vaults.
Represent engineering in client discussions, security reviews, and executive negotiations.
