WP Media, founded in 2014 and based in Lyon, France, is seeking a Video Content Creator to craft engaging content for WP Rocket, Imagify, and RocketCDN. You will shape strategy, storytelling, and production across platforms to attract and convert audiences.

You'll join a remote, global marketing team, recording and editing tutorials, product explainers, and ads while optimizing campaigns with performance data. Remote work with flexible location is encouraged.

Become Our New Video Content Creator!

As a Video Content Creator, your role will be to create compelling video content that aligns with our marketing strategies, helping to attract and engage with our target audiences.

Your video content will be key to making our brands shine and enhancing the performance of our marketing efforts.

In this role, you'll report to the Head of Marketing and become an integral part of our marketing team. We work remotely and are excited to see which new location will join our global team map!

What You Will Be Doing

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Researching current trends and audience preferences to inform your video content creation.

• Developing and maintaining a cohesive brand voice and visual style across all video content.

• Crafting and executing a video content strategy for WP Rocket, Imagify, and RocketCDN, tailored to each platform.

• Recording yourself discussing technical topics related to web-performance and WordPress.

• Producing, editing, and sharing engaging video posts regularly and responding to user interactions.

• Conceiving and producing video ads with strong hooks and visuals designed to capture attention fast and drive measurable results (clicks, sign-ups, conversions).

• Testing different hooks, formats, and creative angles for paid campaigns, and iterating based on performance data.

• Collaborating with the marketing team to ensure your video content supports our campaigns and brand goals.

• Tracking the performance of your video content, analyzing metrics, and making data-driven decisions to refine and improve your strategy.

What Do You Need To Excel at This Job

• Storytelling skills - You have a knack for crafting compelling narratives through visual media, effectively communicating messages that captivate and engage your audience. You're attentive to detail and committed to creating exceptional viewer experiences.

• Video editing skills - You're skilled in the technical aspects of video production, including sound, lighting, and the use of post-production tools. Your expertise ensures that every piece of content is polished and professionally presented, enhancing the overall storytelling experience.

• WordPress Knowledge and/or Taste for Technical Products - You have a solid understanding of WordPress or a genuine interest in technical products, with the ability to translate complex technical features into engaging video content.

• Excellent proficiency in English - Your English is absolutely perfect. You write with excellent spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills, while remaining accessible to a non-native English-speaking audience.

• Proven working experience in video marketing - You have experience with social media marketing, particularly in creating video content that resonates on platforms like YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram.

• Organizational skills - You can juggle different tasks but also know when to ask for help. The team will always be at your side to support you in case of doubt, but relies on you to deliver on time for seamless collaboration.
