The role emphasizes collaboration, ongoing learning, and adherence to five guiding principles as you contribute to a caring hospital team and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Certificate from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist veterinarians and technicians in daily procedures.
• Maintain patient flow and ensure safety for pets and staff.
• Communicate with veterinarians and vet techs to coordinate care.
• Set up or carry out procedures not requiring direct vet or tech assistance.
• Educate clients about preventive care and wellness plans.
• Mentor other team members and uphold hospital standards.
