Jobtailor in Aix-en-Provence seeks an experienced urban planning professional to contribute to regulatory urban planning projects and support sustainable development activities. You will work within a team on studies from parcels to intermunicipal authorities and lead meetings with elected officials and residents.

Applicants should have a Master's in Urban Planning with 5+ years' experience, strong GIS and cartographic skills, and a passion for regulatory document preparation and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Urban Planning and at least 5 years of professional experience.
• Expertise in preparing regulatory planning documents (PLUs, SCoTs).
• Proficiency in GIS (QGIS) and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong interest in graphic and cartographic representation.

Description du poste

• Contribute to several regulatory urban planning projects
• Support the development of urban planning, development and sustainable development activities
• Work as part of a team on studies ranging from individual parcels to intermunicipal authorities
• Prepare procedures for amending planning documents, particularly SCoTs
• Support and advise elected officials at every stage of the studies
• Lead meetings with elected officials, residents and partners
• Monitor legal developments affecting urban planning and environmental regulations
• Lead working meetings, public meetings, consultation workshops and urban walks
• Conduct site visits
• Organise meetings with stakeholders
• Oversee the administrative and financial management of projects
• Prepare bids and contribute to the agency's business development
• Work cross-functionally with Altereo's City and Territory teams and other specialist areas

Requirements

• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Urban Planning
• At least 5 years of professional experience
• Demonstrated expertise in preparing regulatory planning documents, including PLUs and SCoTs
• Demonstrated expertise in conducting pre-operational studies
• Knowledge of mapping tools, particularly GIS (QGIS), and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Knowledge of, or an interest in, urban planning law would be an asset
• Strong interest in graphic and cartographic representation
