Hawthorne Health is seeking dual-credentialed Cardiac and Vascular Sonographers to conduct in-home imaging visits across regions. You will travel to patient homes, set up portable ultrasound equipment, and perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.

A monthly stipend reflects scan compensation and guaranteed availability for 3–4 months with potential extension. Ideal candidates hold active cardiac and vascular imaging registrations (RDCS/RCS and RVT/RVS through ARDMS/CCI), BLS,

Qualifications

• Active registration in cardiac imaging (RDCS or RCS) and vascular imaging (RVT or RVS).
• Full-time or near full-time availability.
• BLS certification.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel regionally.
• Access to a personal computer and reliable internet; tech-savvy and self-sufficient with digital tools.
• Ability to work independently in non-traditional settings.
• Excellent patient communication and bedside manner.
• Adaptability in dynamic field-based environments.
• Time management and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Travel locally or regionally to patient homes to conduct visits (~25 per month).
• Transport and set up portable ultrasound equipment.
• Explain procedures and obtain informed cooperation from participants.
• Perform echocardiograms and vascular imaging per protocol.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during imaging.
• Follow sponsor and protocol-specific imaging guidelines.
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper labeling for cardiology review.
• Complete preliminary report with measurements and sonographer comments.
• Maintain ASE standard quality in imaging.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of imaging equipment.
