BioImaging and Pathologies Laboratory in France is seeking a candidate to implement and validate TRAST spectroscopy, a fluorescence technique to probe dark-state dynamics, and integrate it into the PIQ-QuESt imaging platform for users in academia and industry.

The role covers instrumental development, alignment of a laser-based setup, validation with chromophore Cy5, and building a real-time data analysis and software workflow for TRAST signals.

Qualifications

• Hands-on photonic hardware experience (lasers, modulators, detectors).
• Solid understanding of optical alignment and beam propagation.
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, LabVIEW or Arduino.
• Familiarity with fluorescence microscopy data processing.
• Basic knowledge of (bio)molecular systems and photophysics.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Responsabilités

• Instrumental development: assemble and align a laser-based setup.
• Instrument validation: demonstrate performance with a benchmark chromophore.
• Data analysis pipeline: develop software tools for real-time TRAST data.
