GEFAM in Lyon invites applications for a 24-month Post-Doctoral Researcher position in Lyon, France, with potential extension. The role focuses on leading a ERC Consolidator Grant-backed project to study protein nano-structure using Terahertz spectroscopy and cryogenic conditions.

You will work hands-on, design, optimize and fabricate advanced devices with FDTD simulations, perform spectroscopy experiments, analyze data, and contribute to high-impact publications.

Qualifications

• PhD required in Physics, Materials Science, Engineering or related field.
• Experience with terahertz spectroscopy and cryogenic environments preferred.
• Strong programming and data analysis skills.
• Ability to contribute to and lead a small research team.

Responsabilités

• Design, optimize and fabricate advanced devices using numerical methods (FDTD).
• Conduct spectroscopic experiments on biological samples under cryogenic conditions.
• Lead data analysis and contribute to high-impact publications.
• Collaborate as a key team member with other PhD students and researchers.
