2MNEXT is seeking a Construction Engineering Inspector to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The CEI will support and coordinate inspection activities on complex transportation construction projects, ensuring contractor compliance with plans, specs, standards, and contract requirements while aiding in safety and quality assurance.

The role requires GDOT certifications, 5+ years on heavy construction, and ability to work day, night, or weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• GDOT Field Concrete Technician Certification
• GDOT WECS Certification
• 5+ years of related experience on heavy construction or transportation projects
• High School Diploma and Associate Degree in a technical discipline, construction-related field, or equivalent work experience

Responsabilités

• Perform daily construction inspection activities on complex, large-scale transportation projects to ensure contractor operations comply with project plans, specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
• Conduct field inspections of contractor operations, materials, workmanship, and installed quantities to verify compliance with contract documents, approved plans, and applicable standards.
• Monitor and inspect Traffic Control operations and devices to ensure compliance with project requirements, maintenance of traffic standards, and overall job site safety.
• Maintain detailed daily project documentation, including inspection reports, daily diaries, quantity tracking, work progress, and significant project events.
• Review completed work quantities and assist in verifying contractor pay estimates for accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
