2MNEXT is seeking a Senior Inspector / Senior Engineering Technician to perform inspections and testing of soils, foundations, concrete, masonry, and related materials. The role requires interpreting drawings, specifications, and building codes, with field tests conducted per ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT standards.

The candidate will document observations, communicate with project staff, and ensure safety and quality while working in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of five years in inspection and construction testing of soils, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt materials
• ACI Field Grade I Certification
• At least one ICC Certification (Soils / Reinforced Concrete / Structural Masonry)
• Effective written and oral communication to document observations and test results
• Knowledge of ASTM, ACI, AASHTO, and DOT standards

Responsabilités

• Understand and execute written and verbal directions, review specs
• Communicate daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Perform tests, inspections, and observations per project requirements and standards
• Submit daily field reports documenting testing and observations
• Calibrate and maintain assigned equipment
• Operate and care for a nuclear density gauge per safety guidelines
• Review drawings and perform Special Inspections for compliance
• Maintain and update relevant certifications (ACI, ICC, NICET, PTI)
