CEA seeks a Researcher in Structural Biology to develop room-temperature kinetic crystallography (TR-FRX) and visualize enzymes in action. You will work on protein crystallography at ESRF beamlines, contribute to the ANR JC Catal-X project, and advance time-resolved methods.

The role requires a PhD in structural biology/biophysics/biochemistry, with strong X-ray crystallography and enzymology skills; Python and spectroscopy know-how are a plus. Fixed-term, Grenoble-based position.

Qualifications

  • PhD in structural biology/biophysics/biochemistry required.
  • Strong experience in protein crystallography and enzymology.
  • Experience with time-resolved and room-temperature crystallography is advantageous.

Responsabilités

  • Produce, purify and crystallize proteins of interest; characterize their activity.
  • Prepare and carry out room-temperature crystallography experiments on beamlines.
  • Process and analyze time-resolved diffraction data: reduction, structure determination, refinement.
