Clipperton is seeking a Technology M&A Analyst Intern for a 6-month program in Paris. You will support the execution of transactions from start to finish, preparing memoranda and presentations, and modelling business plans.

You will gain exposure to due diligence, client interactions, and marketing efforts while collaborating with senior leaders. Fluency in French and English is required, with German or Spanish as a plus.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background with a Bachelor or Master’s degree (and ideally international experience).
• Entrepreneurial and independent mindset with analytical and commercial thinking, plus excellent communication and intercultural skills.
• Prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity or Venture Capital and interest in technology-based transactions.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and collaborate with senior management.
• Fluent in French and English; German or Spanish is a plus.

Job Description

In order to support its strong execution pipeline and marketing efforts, the firm is currently looking to hire an Analyst Intern for a 6-month internship based in Paris.

• Support existing and upcoming transactions throughout the entire process, from kick‑off to closing
• Preparation of investment memoranda and presentations (industry study, strategic review, financial analysis)
• Business plan modelling
• Due diligence management
• Support commercial & marketing efforts
• Preparation of commercial presentations / pitches (screenings, company profiles, positioning, valuation, deal strategy)
• Identification of new prospects
• Participation in the preparation of sectoral research papers and other marketing initiatives

Requirements

• You have a strong academical background with a Bachelor or Masters degree and ideally gained first international experience
• You are an entrepreneurial and independent individual with demonstrated analytical and commercial thinking, excellent communication and intercultural skills and finance proficiency
• You have prior M&A experience at Investment Banks, Private Equity or Venture Capital funds and you are interested in technology based transactions
• You can handle pressure and work under tight deadlines, you are curious and analytical, you are a team player and like exposure to senior management
• Written and spoken proficiency in French and English is a must, German or Spanish a plus
