Operations · Paris, France · Full-time · Entry level
This is a hands-on workshop job building the airships: mechanical assembly, wiring, soldering and fitting electronics into the structure. A strong candidate has a technical background in electronics, mechatronics or mechanics, careful finishing habits, and the ability to run basic electrical checks and track down faults. Some time at ground and flight tests is part of the role, and Bac Pro graduates are explicitly welcome.
The AI here works on the data the airships collect, so the assembly role sits on the hardware side that makes that data possible. AI does not solder a connector or fit an avionics bay, and a well-built, reliable aircraft is what gives the software good data to learn from. Careful physical work and honest testing stay human and matter more as the fleet grows.
The role gives close exposure to a real product where autonomous flight and automatic defect detection come together, even though the daily work is hardware. Seeing how sensors, payloads and onboard electronics feed an inspection system is a practical way to understand AI in robotics. Someone could build on this by asking engineers how test results and flight data are used, and by tinkering with FPV drones or small embedded projects.
