Wärtsilä Corporation is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join the Technical Assistance team. You will update EDF UD45 Reference Files and provide backup support for technical assistance contracts, field service, and workshop activities, while strictly applying safety and quality standards.

Your role requires knowledge of UD45 engines, strong analytical and writing skills, and the ability to interact with customers both remotely and on-site.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset for diagnosing problems and drafting modifications.
• Strong technical writing skills for Modification Requests.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills for customer-facing work, remotely or onsite.
• Proficiency with SAP NOVA, TKB and common office software.

Responsabilités

• Drafting and monitoring Modification Requests (FM process).
• Update EDF UD45 Reference Files (UD45V20, UD45V16).
• Monitor KPIs and prepare internal and external reports.
• Participate in customer events and capture feedback/lessons learned (REX).
• Provide backup support for other technical assistance contracts.
• Support Field Service and workshop teams as needed.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and operational standards.
