Emerson is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to develop and grow sales across South-West France for the Klauke and RIDGID portfolios. The role is home-based with regular travel throughout the territory and occasional overnight stays.

You will build strong distributor and end-user relationships, understand technical requirements, and deliver tailored solutions through demonstrations, quotes, and consultative selling. English proficiency supports global collaboration.

• Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and training sessions.
• Prepare quotations, commercial proposals, and solution recommendations tailored to customer needs.
• Negotiate commercial agreements in line with company guidelines and business objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience throughout the sales cycle.
• Support customers from opportunity development through post-sales follow-up and relationship management.
• Monitor market trends, customer developments, and competitive activity to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate forecasts, activity reports, and customer information within company systems.

If you are a Technical Sales Engineer professional looking for an opportunity to grow your career, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you in South-West France supporting the Klauke and RIDGID portfolio .

In this field-based role, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales across an established territory serving distributors, electrical contractors, network and public-works companies, utilities, and industrial customers. As the primary customer contact within your territory, you will help customers identify the right solutions for their applications by combining technical expertise, consultative selling, and strong relationship management.

Reporting to the France Sales Management team, you will inherit a well-established territory with an existing portfolio of loyal customers and long-standing business relationships. This is not a greenfield opportunity; it is a chance to build on a strong foundation while driving continued growth and market development. The position is home-based and requires daily travel throughout South-West France, with occasional overnight stays.

As part of Emerson's Professional Tools business, you will represent industry-leading brands known for innovation, quality, and reliability. The Klauke portfolio includes electrical connection technology, crimping tools, cutting tools, and solutions for electrical installers, panel builders, utilities, and industrial applications. The RIDGID portfolio includes professional-grade tools and equipment serving infrastructure, utility, industrial, and construction markets.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Knowledge of distributor networks and contractor-focused sales channels.
• Experience conducting product demonstrations, technical presentations, or customer training.
• Educational background in engineering, technology, business, or a related field.
• German language skills.
• Experience using CRM systems and sales planning tools.
