Job summary

Emerson seeks a Technical Sales Engineer to cover South-West France, working from a home-based office with regular travel. You will drive Klauke and RIDGID sales, supported by an established territory and loyal customer base.

You will build distributor and contractor relationships, translate technical needs into solutions, and deliver product demonstrations, quotations, and training to end users. This role requires field-based B2B sales experience and travel readiness.

Qualifications

• Field-based B2B sales experience in technical or industrial products.
• Ability to translate customer needs into practical solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused with ability to manage priorities across territory.
• Willingness to travel regularly including overnight stays.
• English proficiency for training and reporting.
• Valid driver’s license and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and grow Klauke and RIDGID sales across South-West France.
• Build relationships with distributors, electrical contractors, and utilities.
• Understand applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Conduct customer visits, demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals tailored to needs.
• Negotiate agreements aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a seamless sales cycle.
• Support customers from opportunity development through post-sales follow-up.
• Monitor market trends and competitive activity for growth opportunities.
• Maintain forecasts, activity reports, and customer data in systems.
