Jobtailor in Lille, France seeks a Technical Lead to manage an ecosystem of two institutional websites and about 30 business applications. You will drive design decisions, ensure security, RGAA 4.1 and GDPR compliance, and lead a major upgrade of the Java CMS based on the JCR repository.

You will prepare architecture documentation, estimate work units, mentor two developers, and enhance CI/CD pipelines and Solr indexing for multilingual search.

Qualifications

5 to 8 years of experience in Java development with hands-on leadership.
Expertise in enterprise Java CMS platforms (Magnolia, Jahia, Liferay) or similar.
Strong command of the JCR model and architecture patterns.
Proven experience managing a major version upgrade in production.
Ability to develop team capabilities and mentor developers.
Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills.

Responsabilités

Serve as the technical lead for a dual-site ecosystem and ~30 business apps.

Lead the major version upgrade of the Java CMS (JCR-based) including planning and testing.

Serve as the technical lead for a critical ecosystem comprising two institutional websites and around 30 business applications.
Ensure sound design decisions, application security, and compliance with RGAA 4.1, GDPR, and eco-design standards.
Lead the major version upgrade of the Java CMS based on the JCR repository, including impact analysis, work-package planning, cutover planning, and the regression-testing strategy.
Prepare architecture documentation and provide work-unit estimates for the client's IT department.
Ensure the suitability and effectiveness of Apache Solr 9 and its linguistic indexing pipeline.
Develop Java/JCR modules, components, REST services, and online business tools.
Redesign the third-party data ingestion pipeline and prepare for the integration of AI-powered semantic search.
Provide technical guidance and support the professional development of two developers through code reviews and mentoring.
Write and maintain architecture documentation and onboarding guides.
Increase automated test coverage and optimize the client's CI/CD pipeline.

Requirements

5 to 8 years of experience in Java development, with substantial hands-on technical leadership experience.
Expertise in enterprise Java CMS platforms (Magnolia, Jahia, or Liferay), extended with custom development.
Strong command of the JCR model.
Proven experience managing a major version upgrade in a production environment.
Strong technical leadership skills and the ability to develop team capabilities.
Excellent interpersonal skills when working with a demanding client IT department.
Professional proficiency in English.
