Jobtailor is seeking a Tech Lead to steer the architecture for a dual-institutional website ecosystem and ~30 business apps. You will guide CMS upgrades, security, and compliance with RGAA 4.1 and GDPR, while designing scalable REST services and AI-ready data pipelines.

You will mentor a small development team, enhance test coverage, and optimize CI/CD with Jenkins and SonarQube. Excellent English and deep Java/JCR expertise are required.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development, with proven technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in enterprise Java CMS platforms (Magnolia, Jahia, or Liferay), extended through custom development.
• Strong command of the JCR model.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the technical lead for a critical ecosystem comprising two institutional websites and around thirty business applications.
• Oversee application architecture decisions, application security, and compliance with RGAA 4.1, GDPR, and eco-design standards.
• Lead the major version upgrade of the Java CMS based on a JCR repository, including impact assessment, work-package breakdown, cutover planning, and the regression-prevention strategy.
• Prepare architecture documentation and estimate work in work units for the client’s IT department.
• Ensure the effectiveness of Apache Solr 9 and its linguistic indexing pipeline.
• Develop Java/JCR back-end modules, components, REST services, and online business tools.
• Redesign the third-party data ingestion pipeline and prepare for the integration of AI-powered semantic search.
• Provide technical supervision and support the development of two developers’ skills through code reviews and mentoring.
• Write and maintain architecture documentation and onboarding guides.
• Increase automated test coverage and optimize the client’s CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins and SonarQube.

Requirements

• 5 to 8 years of experience in Java development, with proven technical leadership experience.
• Expertise in enterprise Java CMS platforms (Magnolia, Jahia, or Liferay), extended through custom development.
• Strong command of the JCR model.
