Job summary

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and manage system requirements, MBSE across disciplines, and traceability from architecture through test for the SST platform. You will coordinate with power, controls, FPGA, software, mechanical and safety teams to close gaps between requirements, implementation and verification.

The role emphasizes maintaining a coherent digital thread, cross-functional collaboration, and documenting decisions to support system-level acceptance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in systems engineering for complex electrical/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of requirements allocation, interfaces and verification planning.
• Experience documenting design decisions and trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own system requirements and translate architecture objectives into clear, testable engineering requirements.
• Maintain MBSE digital thread across power, controls, embedded software, hardware and safety domains.
• Define and document system interfaces and dependencies; support system-level design reviews.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to verification methods and evidence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and maintain coherence of the digital thread.
