Jobtailor in Paris is seeking an experienced IT System Administrator to maintain Windows and Linux servers, manage virtualization stacks, and handle 2nd/3rd line incidents for a client in the Paris region. You will monitor systems, control user access, and automate operational tasks with Ansible and PowerShell, while updating technical documentation and driving continuous improvement of operations.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in a similar position and a IT degree, with strong problem

Qualifications

• Degree in IT (Bachelor’s or Master’s) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration.
• Experience with Citrix, VDI, and Wallix Bastion.
• Proficiency with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, HPE SimpliVity, and Nutanix.
• Experience with NAS storage infrastructures and datastores.
• Experience with Veeam and Robocopy.
• Proficiency with Ansible, SaltStack, PowerShell, and Batch.
• Strong attention to detail, autonomy, organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and analytical ability.

Responsabilités

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers in operational condition


• Manage N2/N3 technical incidents from analysis through resolution


• Operate monitoring tools and handle associated alerts


• Manage user access and virtualization environments: Citrix, VDI, and Wallix Bastion


• Administer VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, HPE SimpliVity, and Nutanix platforms


• Manage NAS storage infrastructures and datastores


• Administer Veeam and Robocopy backups and perform data restores


• Manage access permissions


• Automate operational tasks using Ansible, SaltStack, PowerShell, and Batch


• Update technical documentation and contribute to the continuous improvement of operations


• Perform assignments for a client located in the Paris region

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s-level degree or qualification in IT (three to four years of higher education)


• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role


• Proficiency in Windows and Linux server administration


• Experience with Citrix, VDI, and Wallix Bastion


• Proficiency in VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, HPE SimpliVity, and Nutanix


• Skills in NAS storage infrastructures and datastores


• Experience with Veeam and Robocopy


• Proficiency in Ansible, SaltStack, PowerShell, and Batch
