NP Group is seeking a Field Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support across end-user devices, IT infrastructure and data centre hardware.

You will troubleshoot issues, install and replace hardware, manage incidents and work with infrastructure teams to deliver excellent service.

This long-term freelance assignment (6 months initially) requires 4+ years in enterprise IT, strong communication and ITSM familiarity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in enterprise IT or field support.
• Strong troubleshooting across end-user devices and hardware.
• Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, printers and peripherals.
• Hands-on exposure to data centre hardware (servers, racks, network equipment, storage and cabling).
• Good understanding of ITSM processes (Incident, Problem, Change and Asset Management).
• Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and ServiceNow (or similar ITSM tool).
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
