Job summary

ZF Group in France is seeking a Supplier, Customer and Warranty Engineer to lead customer-related quality topics and manage end-to-end customer claims. The role emphasizes driving continuous improvement and ensuring quality across projects.

The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree, 3+ years in a similar role, and strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies and automotive quality standards. Bilingual English/French is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Quality, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years in a similar position
• Problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa), audit techniques, and automotive quality standards like IATF 16494 or VDA 6.3
• Languages: English & French; German is a plus
• Microsoft 365 experience is expected

Responsibilities

• Lead all customer-related quality topics to ensure satisfaction
• Manage customer claims end to end (analysis, containment, 8D/problem-solving, follow-up, and closure)
• Implement and promote continuous improvement methodologies to enhance quality performance and prevent recurrence
• Ensure successful execution of all quality-related aspects of projects within your area of responsibility
• Supervise problem-solving activities, customer complaints, and warranty return management
• Ensure supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement of supplier quality standards and processes
• Apply continuous improvement principles to support sustainable quality excellence across the organization
