Deezer is seeking a motivated Strategy & M&A intern to join a small, diverse team in Paris. You will gain hands-on experience in corporate development, analytics, and strategic initiatives within a rapidly evolving music streaming company.

You will work closely with consultants and finance experts on market research, business cases, and due diligence, contributing to senior leadership presentations and growth priorities.

Qualifications

• Final year or gap year at a top-tier school.
• Experience with a well-known international consulting firm or corporate finance is appreciated.
• Strong analytical, research and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, international environment.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.
• Interest in tech/start-up culture and music/entertainment is a plus.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-depth market research and strategic analysis for trends, competitors, and opportunities in music streaming and entertainment.
• Support corporate strategy development, market entry and growth plans; build Excel models for scenarios and recommendations.
• Assist in screening potential targets and due diligence: financial analysis, market positioning, business model assessment.
• Prepare and contribute to senior leadership presentations with findings and insights.
• Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Product and other teams to drive strategic initiatives.
