Job summary

Hendrickson in France seeks a purchasing and logistics leader to manage teams, define and execute policies, and source high‑performing partners for materials and services. You will align delivery schedules with customer requirements and production capacity, ensuring efficient procurement and production planning across the plant.

The role focuses on QCD performance, supplier negotiation, and developing annual production plans to meet manufacturing goals and inventory targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing and logistics management.
• Ability to set lead times and production plans.
• Knowledge of DOA and SOD procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage teams and monitor performance indicators.
• Implement the Purchasing and Logistics policy defined by Management.
• Source high-performing partners with optimal terms and lowest implementation costs.
• Execute and develop purchasing activities based on QCD: quality, cost, delivery.
• Participate in the technical definition of the Company’s products.
• Define product delivery lead times based on customer needs and production capacity.
• Oversee timely procurement of materials, accessories, and packaging supplies for manufacturing.
• Develop the plant's annual production plan and inventory forecasts.
• Create weekly production schedules to optimize machinery utilization.
• Manage machining subcontracting and trading activities.
